Lao Cai Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism worked in Bac Ha commune

On September 13, 2025, in Bac Ha commune, a working program took place between the delegation of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lao Cai province and the local Party Committee and government of Bac Ha commune.

Attending the program were representatives of Lao Cai Provincial Museum, Provincial Tourism Promotion Information Center, Bac Ha Area Construction Investment Project Management Board, along with leaders of the Party Committee, Bac Ha Commune People's Committee and related departments and branches.

In the morning, the working group conducted a field survey at the Project to support investment in preserving the Mong ethnic cultural village in Ban Pho 2 village and inspected the management and preservation of the historical and architectural relic of Hoang A Tuong Palace. These are important highlights, closely linked to the preservation of the traditional cultural values ​​of the Mong people as well as the development of tourism typical of the Bac Ha highlands.

At the working session after the survey, delegates discussed and exchanged many practical contents on space arrangement plans, display of intangible cultural values ​​of Mong ethnic people, and at the same time proposed solutions to improve the efficiency of management and exploitation of Hoang A Tuong Palace relic in the direction of sustainable tourism development.
