Soc Trang plans to have 3 projects to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2

According to the Department of Finance, through reports from provincial departments and agencies, Soc Trang is expected to have 5 projects and works invested by the State and the private sector that are eligible to start construction or be inaugurated to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2. Specifically, these include: East-West economic development axis road, Soc Trang province; Prevention and control of coastal erosion in Vinh Chau, Vinh Chau town, Soc Trang province; Ring Road II, Soc Trang city; Housing in the Trade Union Institutional Area in An Nghiep Industrial Park, Soc Trang province; FPT Inter-level High School.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Lam Hoang Nghiep agreed that 3/5 projects to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2, are the East-West Economic Development Axis Road; Housing in the Trade Union Institutional Area in An Nghiep Industrial Park, Soc Trang Province; FPT Inter-level High School. In order for the projects to ensure the progress of the construction and inauguration scheduled for August 19, 2025 in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister, Comrade Lam Hoang Nghiep assigned the Provincial People's Committee Office to issue a written notice to each investor to focus resources on implementation, ensuring the set progress. In addition, for other projects such as Dai Ngai 2 Bridge, Tran De Industrial Park, Ring Road II and other projects, the construction progress must also be accelerated to put into operation soon.

In addition, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate in researching and proposing the selection of data, images, artifacts and information that honestly and vividly reflect the outstanding achievements in socio-economic development of the province in recent years, to display in Hanoi and in the province on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2.
