If driving guests to the highlands to explore Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark, each driver will be paid from 350 - 450,000 VND/day, along with meals and accommodation provided by the establishment. Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh said: “Because I am a local, I know very well the roads on the Stone Plateau, especially the places with beautiful views that impress tourists. Along with the fact that the province's homestays, motels, and hotels have met the needs of eating, sleeping, and resting of visitors, the number of tourists to Ha Giang has gradually increased. From there, people working in this profession always have jobs, creating a stable income."

According to preliminary statistics, in Ha Giang city, there are over 100 places for self-driving motorbike rental, each place has from 100 to 300 motorbikes and thousands of rural workers working as motorbike drivers to take tourists to experience the famous routes and landmarks of the Stone Plateau. Travel agencies and tourism service businesses have proactively promoted the beautiful image of Ha Giang, connecting tourists to the province. Mr. Can Tien Thanh, Director of Thanh Hung Tourism Investment and Trading Company, said: “Currently, tourists from all over the country, especially foreign tourists, coming to Ha Giang are increasing day by day, but according to the current trend, many tourists choose to travel by motorbike. Because Ha Giang is beautiful everywhere, when traveling by motorbike, tourists will not miss a single moment of the experience. Accordingly, tourism service providers have done a good job of coordinating with units and individuals providing motorbike rental services to ensure the needs of tourists.”

To ensure the safety of tourists, the establishments have strictly implemented the provisions of the law, only allowing guests with an international driving license to rent a car to drive themselves. For tourists without a driving license or who do not want to drive to fully enjoy the natural scenery, they will choose local drivers with experience to take tourists. Through this, creating stable jobs for many rural workers.
