Exciting "Skilled Civil Affairs" Contest of Ha Tinh Armed Forces

The contest "Skilled Mass Mobilization" contributes to meeting the requirements of innovation and strengthening mass mobilization work of the Ha Tinh armed forces in the new period.

On the morning of May 30, the Military Command of Ha Tinh province opened the "Skilled Civil Affairs" contest in the armed forces of Ha Tinh province in 2023.

Attending the opening ceremony were representatives of the Military Region 4 Command, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, and a number of agencies and units of the People's Armed Forces in the province.

The contest was attended by 14 teams (each team has 15-18 members), of which 13 teams came from the armed forces of 13 districts, towns and cities in the province and Regiment 841.

The teams will go through 3 rounds, including a brief introduction of the agency, unit, and area; knowledge and situation handling competition; and introduction and promotion of effective models and activities.

The Organizing Committee awarded souvenir flags to the competing teams.

The content throughout the contest focused on Ho Chi Minh's ideology, the Party's viewpoints and guidelines, the State's policies and laws on mass mobilization work, security protection work at grassroots units; the role, functions and responsibilities of Party committees, commanders and each officer and soldier in carrying out security protection work at units and mass mobilization work in the stationed area.

Through the forms of dramatization, many teams have flexibly and creatively applied knowledge and experience in practice to effectively solve problems arising in daily work and life at the unit.

Colonel Vo Quang Thien - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command said: The "Skillful Mass Mobilization" contest is an opportunity for officers and soldiers to exchange experiences, improve knowledge, practice propaganda skills, and mobilize participation in handling complicated situations and incidents that arise during the performance of tasks in the locality.

Through the contest, we aim to popularize and propagate mass mobilization activities; exchange experiences, good, creative and effective ways of doing things in implementing the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization", building "Good mass mobilization units".

Raise awareness, responsibility, and methods of conducting mass mobilization work, ethnic and religious issues, and grassroots democracy regulations of Party committees and commanders at all levels, cadres, soldiers, militia, self-defense forces, and reserve forces; meet the requirements of innovation and strengthen mass mobilization work of the Ha Tinh People's Armed Forces in the new period.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the teams briefly introduced their agencies, units, and locations. The competition is expected to last until May 30.
