Son La has 80 models of the movement of the People protecting national security.

NDO - On May 27, the Department of Building the Movement to Protect National Security, Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with Son La Provincial Police, organized a preliminary review, evaluation and commendation of typical models and examples in the work of building the movement for the whole people to protect national security and mass mobilization work in the Son La Police force.

Currently, in Son La, there are 80 models of the movement for the whole people to protect national security that have been built and are operating at more than 27,000 locations. Of these, 56 models are built outside of social areas, 5 models are built in agencies, 7 models are built in enterprises and 17 models are built ineducational institutions.

Through these models, we have contributed to ensuring political security, social order and safety at the local level, and are an extension of the People's Public Security force in ensuring security and order.

In building the emulation movement of skillful mass mobilization, Son La has built and maintained the operation of 50 "Skillful Mass Mobilization" models such as: "Raising Moc Chau Children" project model; "Three clinging, four together, five having" model with the people; project "Receiving, caring for, and nurturing children in especially difficult circumstances in Son La province"...

From 2021 to present, through models that have donated and mobilized more than 40 billion VND, the police force has made hundreds of trips to the locality to help people develop socio-economy and raise and educate 34 children in difficult circumstances.

In building a model to ensure security and order in new rural construction, many typical models have appeared, becoming one of the criteria to evaluate the results of security and order assurance work in new rural construction according to the guidance of the Ministry of Public Security and the Board of Directors of Son La Provincial Police.

Chieng Coi Ward Police was recognized by the Ministry of Public Security as a model ward police in terms of security, order and urban civilization.

Thereby, contributing to building 177 communes meeting security and order criteria in new rural construction; building 74 new rural communes, 11 advanced new rural communes, maintaining Son La city to complete the task of building new rural areas.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security recognized the model ward police force for security, order and urban civilization in 2024 for Chieng Coi ward police, Son La city and awarded a Certificate of Merit to 1 individual.

The Director of the Department of Building the Movement to Protect National Security awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 2 individuals; the Director of Son La Provincial Police awarded Certificates of Merit to 9 collectives and 19 individuals.
