Succession 's Kieran Culkin and Sarah Snook won Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress in a Drama Series, respectively. Beef 's Steven Yeun and Ali Wong also won Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress in a Limited Series.
The Bear crew wins Emmy
Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series went to Jeremy Allen White ( The Bear ) and Quinta Brunson ( Abbott Elementary ). Brunson became the first black woman to win an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in more than four decades, since Isabel Sanford won for The Jeffersons.
Best Director for a Drama, Comedy and Miniseries went to Mark Mylod ( Succession ), Christopher Storer ( The Bear ) and Lee Sung-jin ( Beef ), respectively.
Along with the Oscars (film), Grammys ( music ), and Tonys (drama), the 75th Emmy Awards honor the best primetime television series in the US from June 1, 2022 to May 31, 2023, voted by the American Television Academy. This year's Emmy Awards ceremony will be broadcast live on Fox. Previously, in August 2023, Fox and the American Television Academy announced the postponement of the Emmy Awards ceremony to January 2024 due to multiple strikes by the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Screen Actors Guild of America (SAG-AFTRA).
