In the atmosphere of the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025), the Port City witnessed a new milestone: The chain of tourism - entertainment - culinary products in Cat Ba Central Bay invested by Sun Group was officially launched on May 30. In particular, a water sports art performance that simultaneously set two Guinness World Records has opened, becoming a symbol of the spirit of unique creation and the desire to elevate the destination.

Mr. Vu Trong Hieu, Chairman of Cat Ba Town People’s Committee, shared that the locality determined that it could not develop in a mass direction. This is the core area of the World Heritage Site, where there is a special landscape, biodiversity and cultural depth. Therefore, the locality needs a different direction – preserving the heritage and making tourists want to come back.

On the evening of May 30, thousands of spectators witnessed a special moment: the awarding ceremony of two Guinness World Records for the show “Green Island Symphony” - the first time in Vietnam that a show has set two world records at the same time. The show was recognized as “The Jetski Fireworks Show with the Largest Formation in the World” and “The Most Acrobats on a Flyboard in One Minute”.
The “Green Island Symphony” was built at lightning speed in just 2 months, turning the sea area that had never hosted a large-scale performance in Cat Ba central bay into the stage of an international-class sports and art show. The project simultaneously completed the infrastructure, a grandstand with thousands of seats, operated multi-level performance technology in the middle of the sea, gathered nearly 40 of the world's top international athletes to perform at the same time, and passed 3 rounds of rigorous testing to set 2 unprecedented Guinness World Records.

The show, produced by the world's leading production units H2O Events and LaserVision, was inspired by the legend of the crane fairy and the theory of the Five Elements. The show recreated the flow of nature through the language of performance technology: jetski, flyboard, jetsurf, laser, fireworks and music. The opening night attracted thousands of spectators to the central square and the Ladies' beach.

The show currently maintains a performance schedule of 5 nights per week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday), from 8:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., expected to last until early September. The listed ticket price starts from 1,000,000 VND/ticket, with discounts when buying combos of 2 or 3 tickets, show combos with dinner. In just one year – especially in the last few months – the green transport infrastructure, central square, night market and coastal restaurant chain have all been completed at lightning speed, providing a seamless travel experience day and night.
Vui-Fest Night Market opens up a vibrant space with mini-shows, games, music and cuisine. Visitors can enjoy a “miniature Hai Phong food tour” with a variety of local dishes, participate in mini-games, claw machines, listen to acoustic music or shop for gifts and local specialties at OCOP booths.
Right next door, two beachside restaurants, The Forest Beach Club and The Sea Beach Club, serve guests all day with delicious cuisine - from fresh seafood to grilled dishes, along with Sun Kraftbeer craft beer, the first in the North. A new space for visitors who love "good food - quality drinks - beautiful views" in the heart of the island.

Along with tourism products, on May 30, Sun Group also officially launched a transportation service connecting Phu Long cable car station to the central bay, where the largest entertainment, culinary and event venues in Cat Ba converge.
