Introduction: Since ancient times, buffaloes have been close friends, closely associated with farmers. Our ancestors often said: "The buffalo is the head of the career", enough to understand the position of buffaloes in human life. Vietnamese buffaloes are domesticated wild buffaloes, belonging to the swamp buffalo group, widely distributed throughout Vietnam. Thousands of years ago, buffaloes have been closely associated with humans along with the birth of wet rice civilization. Ancient Vietnamese people not only knew how to hunt buffaloes but also domesticated buffaloes, taking advantage of the buffaloes' health to help in farming. Buffaloes are mammals. The body of the buffalo looks extremely muscular. Buffalo hair is fur, usually black. Buffalo skin is very thick and shiny. The two ears are like two banyan leaves, always wagging to chase away flies, in addition, buffalo ears are also very sensitive, helping buffaloes hear surrounding sounds. The buffalo's nose is wet, people often put a rope into the buffalo's nose to pull it easily. The buffalo's eyes are big and round like two marbles. Buffaloes, like cows, belong to the ruminant group and have only one set of teeth. The reason why buffaloes only have one set of teeth is explained by the ancients through the story "Here is my wisdom": because the buffalo was busy laughing at the tiger that was tricked by a farmer and tied to a tree, it fell to the ground, its teeth hit the ground, breaking one of its jaws. The buffalo's tail is short, with a tuft of hair at the end. The two horns on its head are curved like a crescent, helping the buffalo defend itself against enemy attacks. Each year, buffaloes only give birth to 1-2 litters, one at a time. The newborn buffalo is called a calf.
