Strengthening cooperation between An Giang and provinces and cities of Laos

In 2024, An Giang had many cooperation activities with Lao provinces and cities, such as: Attending the Forum on Trade, Investment and Tourism Cooperation: Promoting the East-West Economic Corridor and the Cambodia - Laos - Vietnam Development Triangle in 2024; Exhibition fair displaying products and investment, trade and tourism connection activities between Vietnamese, Lao, Cambodian and Thai enterprises in Champasak province; attending the Trade Connection Program between Champasak province enterprises and enterprises in the Central and Southern provinces of Vietnam.

Champasak province also sent a delegation to attend the Tinh Bien - An Giang International Trade Fair in 2024, contributing to promoting economic development and trade between the two localities in particular and between Vietnam and Laos in general.

At the conference, An Giang province proposed to continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between An Giang enterprises and Lao enterprises through trade conferences and trade connections held in the two countries. Coordinate to organize direct and online trade connection programs for agricultural and aquatic products.
