Strengthening cooperation in Party building between Vietnam and Laos

Vietnam and Laos agreed to regularly exchange and share experiences in Party building and political system building; and continue to advise on organizing specialized exchange classes for leaders.

Within the framework of the State visit of General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to Laos, on the afternoon of December 2, at the headquarters of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee, Mr. Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, had a working session with Ms. Sisay Leudetmounsone, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.

At the meeting, Mr. Le Minh Hung expressed his pleasure to meet Ms. Sisay Leudetmounsone again and congratulated Laos on its important achievements in recent times.

Mr. Le Minh Hung discussed and shared the results of the process of streamlining the organization and political system in Vietnam; said that this process will continue to be improved to better meet the requirements and tasks of the new situation.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Sisay Leudetmounsone emphasized that Vietnam's achievements are always a source of great encouragement and motivation and a lesson for Laos in the cause of national construction and development.

Ms. Sisay Leudetmounsone informed about the situation in Laos, about Party building, political system building, professional expertise in organizational work, cadres, party members, internal political protection; and discussed the cooperative relationship between the two Central Organizing Committees of the two Parties.

The two sides also discussed and agreed on the direction of cooperation in the coming time. The two sides agreed to regularly exchange information and share experiences in Party building and political system building; continue to advise on organizing research classes and exchange topics for leaders and managers at all levels to exchange and learn from each other.

The two sides continue to organize training and fostering for young cadres and cadres of the two countries' border provinces; maintain the cooperative relationship between the Party Building Magazine of the Central Organizing Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Coxang Phac Magazine of the Central Organizing Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, and promote propaganda work on the special relationship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life./.
