Dozens of Northern trains to increase on New Year's Eve 2024

According to Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, in addition to regular train pairs between Hanoi - Saigon, Hanoi - Vinh, Hanoi - Lao Cai, Hanoi - Hai Phong, the railway will organize additional trains on all routes during the 2024 New Year.

Specifically, on the Hanoi - Vinh route, in addition to the daily train pair NA1/NA2, from Hanoi to Vinh, additional trains will run: On December 29, train NA3 departs at 10:15 p.m. and arrives at 6:00 a.m.; train NA7 departs at 10:40 p.m. and arrives at 6:40 a.m.; on December 29, 30, and 31, 2023 and January 1, 2024, train SE35 departs at 1:40 p.m. and arrives at 8:25 p.m.

From Vinh to Hanoi, additional trains will run: On December 29, 30, 31, 2023 and January 1, 2024, train SE36 departs at 1:00 p.m. and arrives at 7:47 p.m. On January 1, 2024, train NA4 departs at 8:45 p.m. and arrives at 4:20 a.m.; train NA12 departs at 1:35 p.m. and arrives at 8:45 p.m.

Hanoi - Thanh Hoa route, additional train TH1 departs from Hanoi station on December 30, 2023 at 7:10 am, arriving at Thanh Hoa station at 11:05 am. In the opposite direction, on January 1, 2024, train TH2 departs at 1:15 pm, arriving at 5:30 pm.

Hanoi - Hai Phong route, in addition to the regular daily trains, on December 30, 2023, two more trains will depart from Hanoi: Train LP9 departs at 7:15 a.m. and arrives at 10:07 a.m.; train HP3 departs at 10:00 a.m. and arrives at 12:45 p.m. In the opposite direction, on January 1, 2024, train LP10 departs at 4:00 p.m. and arrives at 7:03 p.m.; train HP4 departs at 2:35 p.m. and arrives at 5:15 p.m.

Hanoi - Lao Cai route, in addition to the regular SP3/SP4 trains, there will be additional trains: Train SP1 from Hanoi to Lao Cai on December 28, 29, and 30, 2023, departing at 9:35 p.m. and arriving at 5:15 a.m. Train SP4 from Lao Cai to Hanoi on December 31, 2023 and January 1, 2024; departing at 8:55 p.m. and arriving at 4:35 a.m.

On this occasion, the railway still applies a general discount policy for policy subjects such as: Discounts for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, the elderly, war invalids, people with severe disabilities, children, students, union members...
