Railway industry stops many train pairs due to the impact of floods in Central region

DNO - On the afternoon of October 27, the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company announced that due to the flood situation in the Central region, the railway industry has temporarily suspended the operation of the North-South Reunification train and the "Central Heritage Connection" train.

Specifically, on the evening of October 27th, the SE1/2 and SE3/4 Thong Nhat trains departing from Hanoi and Saigon will cease operation; the SE19/20 trains departing from Hanoi and Da Nang will also cease operation.

At the same time, the "Connecting Central Heritage" train service (HD1/2, HD3/4) departing from Hue and Da Nang on October 28th and 29th will be suspended.

A total of 2,700 passengers were affected by these train journeys. Passengers with tickets for these trains can return their tickets at the station free of charge, within 30 days.

The Vietnam Railway Transport Joint Stock Company has notified passengers via SMS, Zalo, website, fanpage, etc.
