
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Nam Hung welcomed Network 20/20's interest in exploring the investment environment in Quang Nam .
At the same time, it was emphasized that Quang Nam possesses many outstanding potentials and advantages such as a strategic geographical location, synchronized transportation infrastructure, a young and high-quality workforce, and a transparent and open investment attraction policy.
Quang Nam province is aiming to develop into a new growth hub in the Central region, with deep regional linkages with Da Nang city. The province is focusing on building a modern coastal urban model, an international financial center, a free trade zone, a heritage tourism center, and a high-end resort, all with the goal of sustainable development.
Currently, the province has 205 active FDI projects; however, the number of businesses from the United States remains modest, with only 6 companies investing in the industrial and service sectors.
Provincial leaders expressed their hope that more businesses from the United States and other countries would show interest in and invest in key sectors such as high technology, clean energy, supporting industries, logistics, and green tourism.
Network 20/20 is a New York-based organization that brings together global entrepreneurs, experts, and startups to promote investment collaboration and innovation in emerging economies .
This organization is implementing the "Vietnam Business Diplomacy" program with key areas of focus such as entrepreneurship, digital transformation, renewable energy, and climate change.
Representatives from the Network 20/20 delegation, comprising investors and experts from various countries, expressed particular interest in the areas that Quang Nam is prioritizing for development.
The delegation highly appreciated the province's proactive spirit and positive investment environment, and expressed their hope to soon establish concrete cooperation programs in the near future.
