According to information from Ho Chi Minh City National University, in 2025-2026, Nvidia Corporation will pilot the Jensen Huang scholarship worth 1 million USD at this university.
Of which, 200,000 USD is invested in students, focusing on training programs and developing AI (artificial intelligence) skills and bonuses; 800,000 USD is for providing GPU resources (high-performance computer systems for AI processing and research) for start-up and innovative projects related to technology.

The program is expected to award 50 scholarships to final year students or recent graduates from several member schools of Ho Chi Minh City National University, including the University of Technology, University of Natural Sciences , International University, and An Giang University.
Students need to have a GPA of 3.5/4 (or 8.75/10) and have English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 80.
Scholarship recipients will have access to an in-depth training platform on AI, participate in the “Zero-to-Hero” program with experts from Silicon Valley. In addition, students will participate in online courses, domestic and international seminars in the field of technology as well as internship opportunities at technology research centers.
At the end of October, Nvidia officially became the first company in the world to have a market capitalization exceeding the $5,000 billion mark. According to data from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), this figure is larger than the gross domestic product (GDP) of economic powerhouses such as Japan, India or the United Kingdom.
Mr. Jensen Huang is the founder and CEO of Nvidia. He was born in 1963 in Taiwan, studied in the US at a young age and graduated from the University of Oregon and Stanford University.
His fortune is estimated at 177.3 billion USD, putting him in the list of 10 richest people on the planet.
