South Korean Navy ship docks at Tien Sa port

This morning (May 4), the destroyer Kang Gam Chang of the Korean Navy with 296 officers and sailors commanded by Colonel Kwon Yong Gu docked at Tien Sa port, beginning an official visit to Da Nang .

The welcoming ceremony took place solemnly at Tien Sa wharf, with the Da Nang side including representatives of the City People's Committee, Department of Foreign Affairs, Military Region 5 Command, Naval Region 3 Command... During the visit, the Korean ship's command group will pay courtesy visits to the leaders of the Da Nang City People's Committee, Naval Region 3 Command; visit some scenic spots in Da Nang; and hold meetings on training preparations between the two countries' naval ships. The visit of the Korean naval ship took place in the context of the relationship between the two countries in general and the defense relationship in particular being constantly consolidated and enhanced. This is one of the specific activities to implement the contents of the agreement between the senior leaders of the State and the Ministry of Defense of the two countries in recent times, aiming to deepen the bilateral defense cooperation relationship, bringing practical results./.
