Tay Ninh: Investigating allegations of inappropriate behavior by a teacher towards a 10th-grade female student.

On October 28th, the Department of Education and Training of Tay Ninh province announced that it is coordinating with relevant authorities to verify the incident involving Mr. NVT, a teacher of National Defense and Security Education at Rach Kien High School, who is accused of inappropriate behavior towards a 10th-grade female student.

According to a report from Rach Kien High School, on October 20th, the school administration received a complaint regarding Mr. T's inappropriate behavior towards NTTL, a 10th-grade student at the school. During a meeting with the school, student L stated that Mr. T had sent "intimate" text messages and made inappropriate physical contact. The school administration had student L write a statement explaining her situation and expressing her wishes.

The school also spoke with Mr. NVT about the incident; however, he admitted to sending text messages but denied touching the student's body, and he also wrote a self-criticism report.

On the afternoon of October 27th, NTTL's mother and relatives came to the school to confront him and attempted to throw objects at Mr. T, but were stopped by others. Rach Kien High School then reported the incident to the Rach Kien Commune Police for handling and maintaining security and order.

On the same day, messages between Mr. NVT and NTTL, and a video of NTTL's relatives going to the school to meet Mr. T, went viral on social media.

Authorities are currently continuing to investigate and handle the matter according to regulations.
