In April 2025, the consumer price index in Nghe An increased by 0.09%

Compared to the same period in 2024, CPI in April increased by 1.45%, on average in the first 4 months of 2025, CPI increased by 1.82% over the same period.

Of the 11 main groups of goods and services, 7/11 groups had price indexes that increased compared to the previous month, including: Food and catering services increased by 0.41%; Housing, electricity, water and construction materials increased by 0.27%; Beverages and tobacco increased by 0.17%; Culture, entertainment and tourism increased by 0.14%; Household equipment and utensils increased by 0.12%; Other goods and services increased by 0.08%; Clothing, hats and footwear increased by 0.05%.

There are 3/11 groups of goods with stable prices compared to last month: Medicine and medical services; Post and telecommunications; and Education.

There is one group of goods with a price index that decreased compared to the previous month, which is transportation, down 5.69%.

On average, in the first 4 months of 2025, the consumer price index increased by 1.82% over the same period last year. There were 8/11 groups of goods that increased, including: Medicines and medical services increased by 13.34%; Other goods and services increased by 6.83%; Housing, electricity, water, fuel and construction materials increased by 3.47%; Food and catering services increased by 2.64%; Culture, entertainment and tourism increased by 1.07%; Apparel, hats and footwear increased by 0.97%; Household equipment and utensils increased by 0.85%; Beverages and tobacco increased by 0.75%.

There are 3/11 commodity groups that decreased including: Transportation decreased by 5.69%; Education decreased by 0.85%; and Post and telecommunications decreased by 0.45%.

The gold price index in April 2025 increased by 11.12% compared to the previous month, up 40.19% over the same period. The average for the first 4 months of 2025 increased by 46% over the same period. Domestic gold prices fluctuated in the same direction as world gold prices.

The US dollar index increased by 1.12% over the previous month and by 2.01% over the same period. The average for the first four months of 2025 increased by 2.56% over the same period.
