Thanh Hoa has a new provincial chairman

(Dan Tri) - Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh, Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, was elected by the Provincial People's Council delegates to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, replacing Mr. Do Minh Tuan.

On the afternoon of September 17, the People's Council of Thanh Hoa province, term XVIII, 2021-2026, held its 33rd session.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh, Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, was elected by the Provincial People's Council delegates to hold the position of Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term with 100% of the votes, replacing Mr. Do Minh Tuan.

Earlier, on the same morning, the Politburo and the Secretariat also announced the decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh respectfully thanked the Provincial People's Council delegates for their trust and confidence in electing him to the position of Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

The new Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that this is a very honorable task, and at the same time a high responsibility, requiring him to make every effort to build a united and democratic Provincial People's Committee, improve the quality of direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee and the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of the People's Committees of communes and wards.

He promised to strictly comply with the leadership and direction of the Central Government, the Government , and the Provincial Party Committee to effectively implement the resolutions of the Provincial People's Council. He also focused on resolving difficulties and obstacles in the activities of people and businesses.

According to the new Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, in the immediate future, we will focus on doing a good job of ideological work among civil servants, identifying key solutions for the last 3 months of 2025 on socio-economic development, national defense and security to best complete the goals and plans for 2025.

At the same time, in the coming time, we will focus on directing the concretization and implementation of the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, striving to soon turn Thanh Hoa into an industrialized, modern, rich, civilized and happy province.

The new Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province also hopes to receive the attention, leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the supervision and coordination of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Council committees and the delegates... in order to strive to overcome difficulties and challenges to successfully carry out the assigned political tasks, bringing Thanh Hoa province to develop faster and more sustainably in the coming years.

Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh (born in 1977), from the old Quang Nam province (now Da Nang city). Professional qualifications: Master of Public Administration Management, Architect, Bachelor of English Literature, Senior in Political Theory.

Since January 2021, he has been an alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Thuan province (old).

In July 2025, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh was an alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee.
