Hai Phong City - Hai Duong Province agreed to build documents to submit to the Congress of Delegates of Hai Phong City Party Committee after the merger, term 2025-2030

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of May 27 in Hai Duong, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province and the People's Committee of Hai Phong city jointly organized a conference to agree on a number of contents for coordination in drafting documents to be submitted to the Congress of Delegates of the Hai Phong City Party Committee after the merger, term 2025-2030; discuss plans and policies to support and arrange public housing and social housing for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of Hai Duong province who are expected to transfer to Hai Phong.

Conference Overview.

Standing Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Le Anh Quan and Standing Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban co-chaired the Conference. Also attending were leaders of departments, branches and sectors of Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city.

Leaders of Hai Duong Provincial Department of Finance gave opinions at the Conference.

Based on the agreement between the Standing Committee of Hai Phong City Party Committee and the Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, the Outline of the Political Report submitted to the Congress of Delegates of Hai Phong City Party Committee after the merger, term 2025-2030, has been basically completed.

At the Conference, the leaders of the Departments, branches and sectors of the two localities basically agreed on the socio-economic development indicators of the draft political newspaper document. The Departments, branches and sectors of the two localities proposed a number of additional indicators on: standard schools; cultural villages, cultural agencies; agricultural production value per hectare of crops; job creation, number of hospital beds, doctors/population; social housing. In addition, groups of indicators on budget revenue, growth rate, etc. will be added to the main groups of indicators; social indicators will be added to the general groups of indicators.

Standing Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Le Anh Quan and Standing Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban both agreed that the task of drafting documents for the next term is extremely important. In particular, specific indicators such as the average GRDP of the two localities; inconsistent indicators in general need to be reviewed and considered to ensure feasibility while still meeting the growth target according to the Central Government's orientation.

Therefore, it is recommended that the Departments, branches and sectors of the two localities continue to review and contribute their opinions in writing, no later than 3:00 p.m. on May 28. The Departments of Finance of the two localities are assigned to be the focal points for receiving opinions. On the basis of a unified synthesis, report to the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong City Party Committee and the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee. Strive to complete by June 15 to collect public opinions./.
