Lang Son City: Mobilizing 1,189 billion VND to eliminate dilapidated houses - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- According to statistics from the end of 2024 to early May 2025, the Fatherland Front of Lang Son city and the People's Committees of wards and communes received more than 1,189 billion VND in donations from individuals, organizations, agencies and units in the city to eliminate dilapidated houses.

A household in Chi Lang ward received financial support from the city and has completed house repairs.

Specifically, 128 individuals, agencies, and business units donated cash and transferred money to the account of the Lang Son City Fatherland Front Committee with the amount of 1.139 billion VND and directly donated 50 million VND to Dong Kinh Ward. Some units donated large sums of money to Lang Son City to implement the elimination of dilapidated houses in Lang Son City in 2025, including: Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Techcombank Lang Son branch donated 300 million VND, Lang Son Production and Trading Joint Stock Company donated 60 million VND (50 million VND directly donated to Dong Kinh Ward and 10 million VND transferred to the account of the City Fatherland Front); People and officials of Hoang Van Thu Ward donated more than 27.2 million VND;...

The house of Mr. Luong Van Choi's family, Hoang Dong commune, has been roofed and is being completed.

It is known that the City People's Committee is currently directing the People's Committees of wards and communes to speed up the implementation of housing support for 19 households (14 new construction households, 5 repair households) with mobilized capital and strive to complete in May 2025.

As of May 11, of the 19 houses that were repaired and newly built, 7 had completed construction, and 12 were in the roofing and finishing stages. The total budget allocated by the city to support households in repairing and rebuilding their houses was 990 million VND.
