On the afternoon of November 2, Gunma Green Wings Club had a rematch with Kurobe Club in the 8th round of the Japan Volleyball Championship. Previously, in the match on November 1, Gunma Green Wings Club had an unbelievable victory with a score of 3-0 against Kurobe. This was a result that few people could have expected, because Kurobe is an extremely strong team, with a perfect record of 6 wins in the previous matches. But on the day Thanh Thuy and her teammates played brilliantly, Gunma Green Wings Club became the first team to stop Kurobe's consecutive winning streak.
The two teams are chasing the score dramatically.
However, in the rematch that ended on the afternoon of November 2, Gunma Green Wings Club encountered more difficulties. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy was unexpectedly absent from the competition list, which somewhat affected the strength of the team. On the day the number 1 hitter of Vietnamese women's volleyball was absent, Gunma Green Wings Club, despite playing extremely hard, still could not avoid an overall defeat against the strong team Kurobe.
Unlike the previous one-sided match, the second match between Gunma Green Wings and Kurobe was extremely tense, requiring 5 games to determine the winner. Kurobe took the lead twice (1-0, 2-1), while Gunma Green Wings fought hard to equalize twice (1-1, 2-2). In the first 4 games, the two teams created exciting score chases.

In the 5th game, Gunma Green Wings Club started better and took the lead. At one point, Thanh Thuy's team created a 4-point gap, leading 9/5. However, Gunma Green Wings Club could not maintain the advantage, allowing the opponent to rise up, equalizing 11/11, 12/12 and then 13/15. At the end of the 5th game, Kurobe played with more concentration and finished better to win 15/13, thereby winning the final score with a score of 3-2 (25/18, 24/26, 30/28, 19/25, 15/13) against Gunma Green Wings Club.
Returning to Thanh Thuy’s case, it is still unclear why the Vietnamese player did not appear in the match between Gunma Green Wings and Kurobe. Many viewers expressed concern for the 1.93 m tall striker, thinking that she may have a recurrence of her knee injury.
