Following the special convoy "transporting" life to 5 patients

On the evening of November 9, a convoy of 4 cars, 3 motorbikes and 15 traffic police officers escorted the surgical team and the patient's donated organs to other hospitals to save lives.

On the evening of November 9, a convoy of 4 cars, 3 motorbikes and 15 officers and soldiers from the Patrol Team (Phoenix Team) coordinated with Traffic Police Team No. 2, South Saigon Traffic Police Team (Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) to escort the surgical team and the patient's organs from Ba Ria General Hospital (Tam Long Ward) to central hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City and other places.

Previously, Ba Ria Hospital received a 32-year-old man residing in Long Hai commune, Ho Chi Minh City, who had a serious traffic accident.

After being given emergency treatment at Ba Ria General Hospital and being diagnosed by doctors with brain damage, skull fractures,... multiple injuries that could not be recovered, the medical team discussed and advised the family about organ donation - a humanitarian act to help save the lives of patients waiting for transplants.

Through that, the family understood the meaning of organ donation, and agreed to donate the patient's heart, lungs, liver, and 2 kidneys to save lives.

On the morning of November 9, the surgical team consisting of leading medical experts of Ho Chi Minh City performed the organ retrieval and preservation according to the correct procedure. Afterwards, with the escort of the authorities, the donated organs will be transferred to Cho Ray Hospital, University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Hue Central Hospital...

Thanks to that, maybe 5 patients will be given the chance to revive./.
