Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bau, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Nam Thanh Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, said: The Trade Union regularly coordinates to disseminate policies and laws related to employees; deploys new regulations, labor safety measures, and regulations on implementing corporate culture. Thoroughly educates all workers and employees to strictly comply with labor regulations and collective labor agreements signed between the company's leaders and employee representatives.

With the main business of constructing traffic works, irrigation works, domestic water works, civil works, services, trade, preschooleducation , along with focusing on developing production, business, fulfilling the obligation to pay the state budget, Nam Thanh Construction Investment Joint Stock Company regularly pays attention to improving working conditions, building corporate culture. Currently, the company has 32 people, including construction engineers, intermediate technicians and workers.

In recent years, in the face of the general difficulties of enterprises, the Union has proposed to the Company's leaders to study solutions to overcome them, maintain production and business, expand services, ensure jobs and income for workers. Advise the company's leaders to invest in modern equipment; participate in building long-term, sustainable production and business development plans.

At the same time, the Union performs well the function of supervision, participates in the process of organizing production and business, and contributes ideas to build regulations and rules of the enterprise. Regularly launch the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers"; organize the signing of emulation agreements; mobilize workers and laborers to promote technical innovation initiatives, apply them to construction works, save costs and bring economic efficiency.

In addition, the grassroots trade union regularly visits workers and laborers when they are sick or in trouble; gives gifts on holidays; proposes to business leaders to pay 13th month salary to employees; deducts from profits to pay 100% of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for union members and laborers signing long-term contracts. Supports union members in building houses and starting families, with an amount of 10 million VND/member/year.

Mr. Bui Van Luong, construction team, shared: Every year, employees in the enterprise are trained and educated on occupational safety; thoroughly understand regulations on building corporate culture, preventing social evils. In particular, workers directly working at the construction site are provided with full labor protection, the environment and working conditions are improved, helping employees feel secure in production.

In addition, the grassroots trade union coordinates with the company to organize social activities. Every year, it supports charity funds, the disabled and orphans, children infected with Agent Orange, funds for the poor, supports people affected by storms and floods, supports the local new rural construction program, builds houses for poor households and policy beneficiaries, with an amount of more than 150 million VND/year.
