Agree on merger plan of Provincial Tourism Association

On August 6, the Tourism Association of the three provinces of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, and Hoa Binh (old) held an extended Executive Committee meeting to agree on the merger plan, announce the name, principles, objectives of operations, and personnel plan for the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and charter of the new Tourism Association after the merger.

Attending the conference were leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, leaders and members of the Association of the three provinces of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc , and Hoa Binh (old).

At the conference, delegates approved the Resolution and Project to arrange and merge the Tourism Associations of the three provinces of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, and Hoa Binh into the new Phu Tho Tourism Association. Accordingly, the Phu Tho Tourism Association is headquartered at the Phu Tho Cultural Tourism Space - Hung Vuong Museum, Tran Phu Street, Viet Tri Ward.

The Association is under the State management of the Provincial People's Committee, the professional management of the tourism sector of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies in the field of operation of the Association according to the provisions of law. The Association operates with the purpose of gathering and linking members to cooperate, support and help each other to contribute to the development of the provincial tourism industry, ensuring the rights and legitimate interests of members and customers.

The merger of the Tourism Association of the three provinces of Phu Tho - Vinh Phuc - Hoa Binh (old) into the Phu Tho Tourism Association is a policy that is suitable for the current economic development context. Through that, it helps to exploit and promote effectively the tourism potential of the Northern Midlands and Mountains region and the Red River Delta with unique cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO. At the same time, it promotes the building of local tourism brands and products, facilitating the construction of tours and routes, and exploiting the potential strengths of the province.
