According to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuoc Hoi Ward, in recent days, due to the impact of heavy rain and floods, some areas in the area have been partially flooded; including Le Minh Cong Street. However, the damage was not great and there was no case of people being isolated by the flood.
Some rice fields of Phuoc Hoi people were flooded, but the rice had been harvested earlier and this area is located in La Gi ward.
“We are closely monitoring the weather situation to promptly respond to the latest developments. Departments, branches, organizations, police and military forces of the ward are on duty, ready to support people in all situations,” affirmed Mr. Huynh Thanh Quoc Viet, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuoc Hoi ward.
Regarding the local flooding on Le Minh Cong Street, the leader of Phuoc Hoi Ward said that last evening, the locality mobilized excavators and backhoes to dredge and clear the flood drainage system below.

Local flooding occurred in Phuoc Hoi due to water from the canal system in La Gi ward flowing into the fields and overflowing. Soil, rocks, and trees got stuck in the flood drainage system before flowing into the sea, causing water to stagnate.
After being cleared, the water has receded and people's travel in the ward, including Le Minh Cong street, has returned to normal.
