The Prime Minister reappoints the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.

(Chinhphu.vn) - In Decision No. 1666/QD-TTg dated August 5, 2025, the Prime Minister reappointed Mr. Vu Chien Thang to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.

The above decision takes effect from August 21, 2025.

Mr. Vu Chien Thang was born in 1967, from Nghe An province. He was appointed Deputy Minister of Home Affairs since 2020.

Deputy Minister Vu Chien Thang is responsible for assisting the Minister of Home Affairs in charge of the following areas: Organization, staffing; office; associations and non-governmental organizations; international cooperation; coordination with political organizations, socio-political organizations and handling and resolving issues of decentralization and delegation of power; arranging and streamlining the state administrative apparatus.
