Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 525/QD-TTg to transfer and appoint Mr. Tran Tien Dung, Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Justice .
Mr. Tran Tien Dung was born in 1975, hometown Nam Dinh province. Master of Law degree.
Mr. Tran Tien Dung has more than 20 years of experience in the Judiciary and is a strategic planning officer of the Central Government, having grown through many positions from specialist, leadership secretary, Deputy Chief of Office, Chief of Office of the Ministry and 3 years as Deputy Minister of Justice (appointed by the Prime Minister in 2016).
From March 12, 2019 to June 2021, he held the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Lai Chau province. On June 19, 2021, at the first session of the 15th term of Lai Chau Provincial People's Council, Mr. Tran Tien Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Lai Chau province for the 2016-2021 term, was re-elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Thus, after a period of work, Mr. Tran Tien Dung returned to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Justice.
