At the conference summarizing the 2023-2024 school year recently organized by the Ministry of Education and Training , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that, implementing Uncle Ho's teachings, from practical experience, we are requested to study, clearly define and effectively implement the motto: "Taking students as the center and subject - Teachers as the driving force - School as the support - Family as the fulcrum - Society as the foundation".
According to the Prime Minister , students not only acquire knowledge but also proactively and actively practice morality, intelligence, physical fitness and aesthetics, have the will to rise up, ambitions, dreams and aspirations to contribute and serve the country and people.
Teachers not only impart knowledge but also must be exemplary in training, always encourage, motivate, guide, share, motivate, inspire students, discover, encourage, and create conditions for each student to develop their strengths.

The Prime Minister said that the 2023-2024 school year marks 10 years of the education sector implementing educational innovation in the spirit of Resolution 29/NQ/TW. The entire education sector has made efforts and achieved many outstanding results.
The work of perfecting institutions and policies for education and training development continues to receive attention. The system of legal regulations, directives and implementation instructions has been issued relatively comprehensively, covering the core and most necessary issues to meet the requirements of innovation.
The scale of education and the network of preschool, general education and continuing education facilities have developed, ensuring the best learning rights of students, increasingly meeting the learning needs of the people and the human resource training requirements of the country.
The implementation of innovation in general education programs and textbooks has gradually stabilized and initially achieved the set goals.
The work of universalizing preschool education, primary education, secondary education and illiteracy eradication continues to receive attention from localities, creating favorable conditions, such as building semi-boarding and boarding schools to mobilize the maximum number of school-age children. The Ministry of Education and Training continues to coordinate with the Ministry of Home Affairs to add nearly 28,000 positions for the 2023-2024 school year.
