TPO - The Prime Minister approved the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.
On September 14, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 983/QD-TTg approving the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province for the 2021-2026 term. Previously, on the afternoon of September 6, at a special session, the People's Council of Thai Nguyen province, term XIV, term 2021-2026, carried out the process of electing Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung, born in 1983, is from Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi. He has a master's degree in information technology and graduated from university in Singapore; senior in political theory. During his working career, Mr. Dung has held many positions: Deputy Director, Director of the Department of Information Security; Director of the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Information and Communications . From 2020 to 2024, Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung held the position of Deputy Minister of Information and Communications. On August 27, the Central Party Secretariat appointed Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung - Deputy Minister of Information and Communications as Deputy Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. On the same day, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 981/QD-TTg approving the results of the dismissal of Mr. Trinh Viet Hung from the position of Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. Previously, in July 2024, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Executive Committee appointed Mr. Hung as Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee. Tienphong.vn
