Standing Provincial Party Committee works with leaders of Vietnam National Coal

On the afternoon of September 18, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee worked with the leaders of the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (TKV) on investment and production expansion of the Ammonium Nitrate Production Plant, under the Mining Chemical Corporation - Vinacomin (Micco) and coal supply for Thai Binh Thermal Power Plant 1 and 2.

On TKV's side, there were comrades: Ngo Hoang Ngan, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members; Dang Thanh Hai, General Director of the Group; members of the Board of Members and leaders of the Group's professional departments.

At the meeting, the provincial leaders and TKV discussed a number of issues related to investment and production expansion of the Ammonium Nitrate Production Plant, under the Mining Chemical Corporation - Vinacomin (Micco) and coal supply for Thai Binh Thermal Power Plant 1 and 2. Regarding the supply of coal to thermal power plants in Thai Binh province, TKV hopes that Thai Binh province will create favorable conditions for TKV to invest in building more warehouses and carry out direct blending to ensure timely response to the operations of thermal power plants. Regarding the Ammonium Nitrate Production Plant, with its potential and development advantages, TKV hopes to receive support and create favorable conditions for TKV to continue expanding the production scale of the plant, investing in building an Ammonia input plant for the Ammonium Nitrate Production Plant; implementing deep processing of ammonium nitrate and deep processing of precursors, etc.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting. Comrade Ngo Hoang Ngan, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group spoke at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, comrades: Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed their gratitude for the sentiments and contributions of TKV to Thai Binh province. They emphasized the contribution of the Ammonium Nitrate Production Plant to the province's budget revenue in recent times; as well as the coordination between the Group, its member units and the province in ensuring security and order, production activities, ensuring coal supply for thermal power plants in Thai Binh and handling arising situations.

The Provincial Party Secretary thanked TKV for its attention, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant to overcome difficulties to ensure production activities since the trial run. The Provincial Party Secretary welcomed the expansion of the Ammonium Nitrate Production Plant and hoped that with its prestige, responsibility and affection for Thai Binh province, TKV would choose to invest in the most advanced and modern technology to invest and expand the plant, thereby promoting the socio -economic development of the province in the coming time. With the province's policy of promoting investment, TKV's promotion of investment in projects related to production and business activities in Thai Binh province will be a driving force to boost the province's budget revenue.

The Provincial Party Secretary also agreed with some of TKV's proposals, and affirmed that Thai Binh Province supports TKV's policy and is ready to facilitate, supplement, and update the planning in the spirit of ensuring compliance with legal regulations. He requested relevant departments and branches of the province to closely coordinate with TKV in the process of resolving issues related to procedures and work proposed by the Group.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Secretary presented souvenirs to TKV leaders, wishing for the cooperative relationship between Thai Binh province and the Group to further develop.
