Trung Son Hydropower Plant completes training of first aid and emergency forces by 2025

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Trung Son Hydropower Company Limited (TSHPCo) has just coordinated with Thanh Hoa Labor Safety Company to organize an annual first aid and emergency training course for the first aid force at Trung Son Hydropower Plant. The class had the participation of 34 trainees who are direct workers operating the plant.

Classroom overview.

In his opening speech, Mr. Vu Xuan Dung, Chairman and Director of the Company, affirmed: “First aid and emergency training is not only a mandatory requirement according to legal regulations, but also demonstrates the responsibility of the enterprise in protecting the health and lives of employees, while contributing to building a safety culture in the unit.”

The training program is built on the basis of Circular No. 19/2016/TT-BYT dated June 30, 2016 of the Ministry of Health , combining theory and practice, suitable for the specific work and geographical conditions in mountainous areas.

Mr. Vu Xuan Dung, Chairman and Director of the Company, delivered the opening speech at the first aid and emergency training course.

The class instructor, Dr. Le Ngoc Hai, directly instructed the skills to handle common accidents at work such as: snake bites, drowning, electric shock, falls while working outdoors... Students practiced techniques such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), hemostasis, temporary fixation of fractures, burn treatment, wound bandaging, and transporting victims with and without stretchers.

Trung Son Hydropower Plant is located in Trung Son Commune (Quan Hoa) - an area with mountainous terrain and working conditions that pose many potential risks of accidents. Therefore, organizing periodic training is one of the important solutions to improve response and emergency handling skills, proactively prevent risks and protect the health of workers.

First aid training is maintained regularly by TSHPCo, creating a foundation for the on-site rescue force to operate effectively, contributing to ensuring safety in production and factory operations.
