The socio-economic picture of Da Nang city in the first 8 months of 2025 continues to have more bright spots when many large-scale real estate and tourism projects are launched and built.

Meanwhile, the Department of Construction has appraised the feasibility study reports of 33 projects and granted construction permits to 34 projects with other investment sources (not public investment projects and outside industrial parks, economic zones, and Da Nang High-Tech Park), mainly real estate and tourism projects with a total investment of VND59,511 billion.

Besides, there are 8 projects eligible for exemption from construction permits with 1,626 houses and a total investment of VND10,083 billion.

These projects will continue to break ground and commence construction in the coming time, contributing to promoting double-digit GRDP growth.

According to the Department of Construction, the city will continue to actively remove difficulties and obstacles for works and projects to unlock investment resources and soon start construction and break ground.

The Department of Construction also actively supports investors, speeds up the appraisal of feasibility study reports and construction permits. In the first 8 months of 2025 alone, the department has promptly resolved, shortening the total time by 404 days for the above-mentioned projects and works.

From July 1, 2025, the Department of Construction will carry out fire prevention and fighting appraisal procedures for construction works instead of the police agency doing it as before, but will not increase the time to process the documents.

The Department of Construction continues to overcome difficulties, support investors and actively handle construction licensing applications, striving to achieve a total investment of more than VND 100,000 billion in licensed construction works and projects by 2025.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, many large-scale projects and works have been started and ground-breaking recently as a result of Da Nang city's proactiveness and positivity in removing difficulties and obstacles.

“Focusing on removing difficulties and obstacles for projects and land to unlock resources for development is the city's key and top priority task. Real estate business revenue increased sharply

According to Da Nang City Statistics, in the first 8 months of 2025, real estate business services increased sharply compared to the same period in 2024 thanks to the recovery of investment demand and the attraction of large planning projects after the merger. In August 2025 alone, total revenue from real estate business services reached 1,736 billion VND, an increase of 76.2% over the same period last year. In the first 8 months of 2025, total revenue from real estate business services reached 13,577 billion VND, an increase of 108.4% over the same period last year.
