Tien Phuoc launches Action Month for Children 2025

(QNO) - This morning, May 27, Tien Phuoc District People's Committee organized the launching ceremony of the Month of Action for Children 2025 with the participation of nearly 300 children in the district.

Tien Phuoc district currently has 15,347 children, accounting for 19.2% of the population; of which 131 are Co ethnic children, 303 children with severe and extremely severe disabilities, 530 children from poor and near-poor households, 150 orphans, and 25 children living in families with social evils.

Over the years, the district has made many efforts and taken specific, practical actions to create conditions for children to develop comprehensively in all aspects. Cultural - artistic, physical education - sports movements, models and clubs are maintained regularly, contributing to creating useful playgrounds for children.

The district pays attention to implementing policies to support and help poor children, children in especially difficult circumstances and ethnic minority children through programs to connect with disadvantaged villages, sponsor children, and mobilize social resources...

This year’s Action Month for Children is themed “Prioritizing resources to achieve goals for children”. The district will focus on leading, directing, and implementing the task of protecting, caring for, andeducating children; raising awareness and responsibility of families, schools, communities, and the whole society for this work.

At the ceremony, the District People's Committee awarded 169 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to students in difficult circumstances and poor students who overcame difficulties to study well in the district.
