Continued slight increase in some provinces

Pig prices continued to increase slightly in some provinces this morning. The latest survey shows that pigs across the country are being sold at around 67,000 - 74,000 VND/kg.

In the Northern region, on the morning of April 14, the Northern region recorded an increase of 1,000 VND/kg in live hog price in Thai Nguyen, reaching 68,000 VND/kg, the same price as Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Hanoi, Vinh Phuc and Tuyen Quang.

Currently, live pigs in this area are being bought and sold at around 67,000 - 69,000 VND/kg. Of which, Phu Tho is the locality with the highest live pig price in the region, reaching 69,000 VND/kg.

The price of live pigs in the Central Highlands and Central Vietnam increased slightly in Thanh Hoa, up to 68,000 VND/kg, the same price as Nghe An.

Accordingly, live pigs in this area are being purchased at prices ranging from 67,000 - 73,000 VND/kg, with Ha Tinh being the only province keeping transactions at 67,000 VND/kg, the lowest in the region.

Live pigs in the Southern market today increased slightly in Soc Trang and Dong Thap, reaching 73,000 VND/kg and 74,000 VND/kg, respectively.

Accordingly, live pigs in this area are purchased by traders at prices ranging from 72,000 - 74,000 VND/kg. Specifically, the highest price in the country is 74,000 VND/kg appearing in the provinces of Dong Thap, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Tien Giang, Ben Tra, Kien Giang and Ca Mau.
