Received two female elephants for breeding purposes.

The Dak Lak Provincial Center for Elephant Conservation, Animal Rescue, and Forest Management has recently received and relocated two elephants, named Jatuc and Javac, from the Bu Dang Protective Forest Management Board in Dong Nai Province. These are two young female elephants capable of reproduction, contributing to the expansion of the elephant population in Dak Lak Province.

According to authorities, during the transportation process, the two elephants were closely monitored and cared for, ensuring their health and showing no signs of exhaustion or trouble. Currently, the two elephants are being released into a semi-wild grazing area at the Dak Lak Provincial Elephant Conservation, Animal Rescue, and Forest Management Center. Experts there will continue to monitor and care for their health according to established procedures. Thus, after receiving the two elephants from Dong Nai province, the total number of domesticated elephants in Dak Lak province is now 34 individuals.
