Received 350 units of blood at the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival in Bao Thang district

With the theme "Bao Thang Red Drops - Sending Love", the festival attracted more than 650 volunteers who are civil servants, public employees, and workers from agencies, units, schools, and communes and towns in the district to participate in blood donation.

Hundreds of volunteers participated in donating blood.

As a result, the festival received 350 units of blood, reaching 100% of the target. This amount of blood will be transported to the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to serve the emergency and treatment of patients.

This year, the blood donation festival is held twice a year instead of once a year as before. The number of volunteers registering to donate blood has increased compared to last year. These are positive signs showing that the voluntary blood donation movement in the district is increasingly spreading, especially among cadres, workers, civil servants, employees... of agencies, units, schools, armed forces...

Mr. Vu Viet Truong, Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society, presented flowers to volunteers who donated blood at the festival.

Many civil servants and workers participated in blood donation.

It is expected that in May, the Provincial and Bao Thang District Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee will continue to promote, mobilize and organize a voluntary blood donation festival at Tang Loong Industrial Park.
