In mid-July, within the framework of the Green Summer 2025 campaign, the Youth Union of the University of Education (University of Danang) coordinated with the Youth Union of Hoa Khanh ward to organize a beautiful handwriting class for local children.
With the message "Careful writing - sending love", the class not only trains beautiful handwriting skills, but also opens up a warm space to nurture love for letters, knowledge, teachers, and friends, helping students get used to the learning environment, ready for the new school year with confidence.
The class is held every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evening by 11 volunteer students, divided into 2 classes and directly instructing 30 students.
Dang Dai Duong Kha (7th grade student, Hoa Khanh ward) said: “At first, my handwriting was quite bad, often smudged and uneven. Thanks to the patient guidance of the students, I improved day by day. I feel very happy because not only did I learn to write beautifully, but I also felt the care and closeness from the students.”
Also at this time, Dong Giang Commune Youth Union coordinated to organize a gift giving program for students with especially difficult circumstances at Za Hung Primary and Secondary School. At the program, 60 gifts including school bags and school supplies were given to poor students. This is an activity that the Commune Youth Union has maintained regularly for many years, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and responsibility to the community.
Secretary of the Commune Youth Union Ating Toan said that in recent times, the Commune Youth Union has regularly coordinated with the school to review and grasp the circumstances of disadvantaged students to promptly support and encourage them. The gifts, although small, are a practical sharing, adding motivation for the children to overcome difficulties to go to school.

In the coming time, the Commune Youth Union will coordinate with the Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports to carry out practical activities such as: organizing swimming classes, introducing Pickleball, installing warning signs in potentially risky areas. These activities not only provide material support but also contribute to protecting and improving the physical fitness and life skills of students.
Meanwhile, Duy Tan University Delegation launched a green summer program with the theme "Duy Tan University students volunteer for the community".
The highlight is the model “Bringing English to You” with classes for primary school students in Binh Minh commune, Quang Ngai province. The class lasted for 6 sessions, attracting 60 students to participate. At the end of the program, the organizers gave gifts including books and school supplies to the students.
There are also 3 classes on how to use artificial intelligence (AI) tools in learning and organizing activities for union members and youth in the commune to help them access new technology, gradually forming creative and proactive learning skills in the digital age.
Duy Tan University Youth Union Secretary Nguyen Tuan Kiet shared: “Through English classes and AI application skills, we hope to create proactive learning habits for students, while consolidating knowledge and inspiring the spirit of learning before entering the new school year. These activities aim to build a positive learning environment, helping students gain more skills and apply technology to be more confident and ready for the road ahead.”
