On the afternoon of June 7, the Market Management Department of Thanh Hoa province and related sectors organized the destruction of 116 items confiscated by administrative violation decisions of the authorities in recent times.

Destroy the violating cosmetic products.

The types of goods that were destroyed were mainly cosmetics, children's toys, confectionery, beer, various foods, household appliances... with a total value of 152,400,000 VND. These are items identified as smuggled goods or goods without invoices, documents proving origin, expired, discovered, seized and administratively handled by the Market Management force in coordination with functional agencies from October to December 2022.

At the headquarters of the Provincial Market Management Department, the authorities destroyed the goods using mechanical measures, such as: opening the lid, cutting the box for beer, cosmetics; tearing the packaging, smashing and crushing food, toys, household appliances... After that, these goods were taken to the landfill at the waste treatment plant of Hoang Duc commune, Hoang Hoa district.

Violating toys and food items will be destroyed.

Currently, Thanh Hoa province's functional forces have increased inspections of goods with high consumer demand during the summer such as electronics, refrigeration, soft drinks, closely monitoring price posting and food hygiene and safety at tourist areas and spots... Violations will be strictly inspected and handled by functional forces according to regulations.

It is known that since the beginning of the year, Thanh Hoa province's functional forces have handled 1,766 violations in the fields of smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods.
