Implementing President Ho Chi Minh's teaching "No matter how difficult it is, we must continue to compete to teach well and study well", throughout the process of building and developing, teachers and students of Lam Son High School for the Gifted have always strived to compete to "Teach well, study well", achieving many achievements in studying and training, especially achievements in the international arena of knowledge, contributing to affirming the position of "Thanh Land - Land of Learning".

Representatives of the Department of Education and Training and Lam Son High School for the Gifted awarded students who won national excellent student awards for the 2024-2025 school year.

Over the past 90 years, Lam Son High School for the Gifted, formerly Thanh Hoa High School (Collège de Thanh Hoa), has made worthy contributions to the "human development" cause of the province in particular and the education cause of the whole country in general. In particular, the school has always maintained and promoted excellent achievements in training and fostering to improve the quality of key education. According to statistics, in the past 5 years, the school's students have won 388 provincial-level excellent student awards, including 58 first prizes. With this result, the school has continuously ranked No. 1 in the province. At the national level, the number of students winning prizes in the national excellent student selection exam has increased in both quantity and quality. From 2021 to present, the school has had 328 students winning prizes, including 23 first prizes, 91 second prizes, 114 third prizes, and 100 consolation prizes. In regional and international Olympic competitions, from the 2020-2021 school year to the 2024-2025 school year, the school has 4 students winning silver medals in international Olympic competitions in Mathematics and Physics; 4 students winning prizes in the Asia- Pacific Olympic competitions. This result has contributed to maintaining the province's educational achievements in the top 10 provinces and cities with the highest results in nurturing excellent national and international students nationwide.

According to the school's leadership representative, to achieve the above achievements, in addition to the attention of the province, all levels, sectors and people in the province; the close direction of the Department of Education and Training, the school has implemented many synchronous solutions to improve the quality of teaching and learning such as building a team of teachers who are intellectual, good at expertise and dedicated to the profession. Currently, the school has a total of 113 staff, teachers and employees, of which 98 are teachers; the rate of qualified teachers is 100%, above standard is 74%.

Along with improving the professional qualifications of the teaching staff, the school attaches special importance to attracting, selecting and educating students. This is a key step in nurturing excellent students, because "Without flour, there can be no paste". The school's motto in nurturing excellent students is "turning pressure into motivation" so that each group and each individual must have the consciousness to strive for common achievements.

Everyone knows that behind the series of achievements are the hardships, difficulties, outstanding efforts and creativity of both teachers and students. Lam Son High School for the Gifted with its long series of achievements is thanks to the love for the profession of the teachers who have devoted themselves to "passing on" the passion to the students and the constant efforts of each student; the special attention from the school's board of directors and teaching staff.

Reality has proven that each period has different difficulties and challenges. Overcoming those difficulties and challenges, teachers and students of Lam Son High School for the Gifted are more excited and proud of the achievements and glorious traditions of the school. In the current period, the continuous development of economic sectors is creating many opportunities, but also posing many difficulties and challenges for the school's career of "cultivating people". However, with the passion for learning of students, with the high sense of responsibility of the pedagogical collective, and the attention of all levels and sectors, the school is determined to further promote the emulation movement "Teach well, learn well", make efforts and concentrate on new challenges with a firm position to "reap" more "sweet fruits" in the "knowledge arenas", worthy of being the pride of Thanh education, contributing to affirming the position of "Thanh Land - Land of Learning".
