The news bulletin of Vietnam News Agency (now Vietnam News Agency) released on April 26, 1975, provided important information about the struggle for national reunification. Notable news included:

- Activities of the Delegation of the Central Committee of the National Liberation Front and the Provisional Revolutionary Government in Da Nang .

- Advancing to Ham Tan town, a puppet uprising company made achievements and returned to the people.

- Sa Dec people fought to protect young people from being forced to join the army, forcing the puppet government to release 160 people who were unjustly arrested.

- Punishing the enemy at the Crossroads, Ban Me Thuot town.

- The army and people of Chau Thanh district ( Tay Ninh ) smashed the enemy's repressive apparatus and completely controlled the Ben Soi area.

- The people's armed forces liberated Vinh Long, attacked and destroyed more than 10 military posts and sub-regions, severely damaged 1 puppet battalion and 1 main force company; shot down 3 planes, and destroyed 3 enemy military vehicles.

- Ca Mau troops sank and burned 4 enemy ships on Tam Giang River.
