Bologna to meet AC Milan in the final
Bologna easily won 2-1 against Empoli in the second leg of the semi-final on the morning of April 25, this result helped them win 5-1 on aggregate after two matches and won the right to participate in the final of the Italian National Cup (Coppa Italia) for the first time since 1974.
Bologna will face AC Milan in the final, which will be played at the Stadio Olimpico on May 14. Bologna coach Vincenzo Italiano said: "This is the goal, the dream of the club and the city.

Promising French skier Margot Simond died after an accident while training in Val d'Isere on April 24.
The 18-year-old was scheduled to attend the Red Bull Alpine Park event this weekend, but tragedy struck her suddenly. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of her death.
According to initial information from the French press, Simond fell during training and doctors tried to resuscitate her but could not save her.
Simond is considered a promising French skiing star after winning the national U18 championship in March last year.

Following his defeat to Holger Rune in the final of the Barcelona Open, world number three Carlos Alcaraz has decided to withdraw from the Madrid Open due to injury. Alcaraz said he suffered a groin injury in the second set of his match against Holger Rune.
Alcaraz will try to train to recover quickly for the 2025 French Open. Alcaraz said: "In a week or two, I will return to training. I need to listen to my body and make the right decision. I don't want to say anything in advance but hopefully I will be ready for the French Open."
Alcaraz (21 years old) has won 18 ATP titles, including 4 Grand Slam championships. He was the world number 1 for many weeks before falling to his current third position.
