This afternoon, September 11, Quang Tri province launched a call to support the people of the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung; Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Dao Manh Hung; and members of the Provincial Party Committee attended. Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Dao Manh Hung informed about the current damage caused by storm No. 3 in the northern provinces, and at the same time, expressed deep sympathy for the pain and difficulties that the people of the provinces are suffering.

Promoting the tradition of solidarity, mutual love and the morality of "Love others as you love yourself" of the nation, responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Quang Tri Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee called on cadres, party members, workers, soldiers of the armed forces, agencies, units, enterprises, and philanthropists in the province to join hands to share, support, and help the people of the northern provinces to quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters and quickly stabilize their lives.

At the program, provincial leaders, many units, organizations and individuals participated in direct support. The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee continued to receive support from units, organizations and individuals inside and outside the province from September 10 to October 30.

Immediately after the launching ceremony of the province, at the Quang Tri Newspaper office, the leaders of Quang Tri Newspaper also organized a fundraising campaign and received the support and contributions from all staff of the Quang Tri Newspaper office and the Provincial Journalists Association to support the people of the Northern provinces affected by storms and floods.
