Within the framework of the contest, the Center will summarize and award the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Contest through short video clips on the TikTok platform with the theme: "I am a tour guide of my hometown's heritage".
The contest is organized to contribute to raising awareness and understanding for the community, especially the young generation, about the historical and cultural values of the World Cultural Heritage of Ho Dynasty Citadel. At the same time, fostering historical knowledge, patriotism and national pride, and a sense of responsibility of young students towards the heritage of their homeland.
In addition, the contest will help diversify the forms of experientialeducation , help students approach heritage in a lively way, make students interested in history and related subjects. From there, create a healthy and useful playground for students to demonstrate their talents, intelligence, and creativity; at the same time, create opportunities to help students practice logical thinking skills, handle situations, create conditions for students in the school to exchange, learn and share learning experiences as well as in life.
This year's Golden Bell Competition is organized in a completely new and attractive format, including 3 exciting stages, each stage revolving around a different theme related to the depth of history and heritage tourism development.
The contest is expected to be held in November 2025 at the South Gate campus, Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Site with the participation of students from Pham Van Hinh Secondary School.
The organizers have prepared 30 questions divided equally into 3 stages: stage 1 focuses on the theme "10 years of the capital (1398-1407)"; stage 2 revolves around knowledge about the two dynasties Tran - Ho; stage 3 is called "One destination - Heritage and tourism development".
Each question is presented in multiple choice or short form, students answer directly on the board in 20 seconds. The correct answer must match the answer provided by the Organizing Committee, ensuring clarity, accuracy and correct spelling. Contestants who answer incorrectly will be eliminated from the competition stage, however, at each stage there will be a unique "rescue" opportunity.
The contest will help foster historical knowledge, patriotism, national pride, and sense of responsibility among young students towards their homeland's heritage.
Mr. Trinh Huu Anh (Deputy Director of the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center) said: This is the third year that the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center has organized the Golden Bell contest. With a new approach, it is hoped that the program will inspire and spread the value of heritage, combine cultural heritage conservation and educational development, create a friendly educational environment, and at the same time preserve and promote the historical and cultural traditions of the nation as well as the locality.
In recent times, the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center has proactively coordinated with local schools to develop plans and heritage education programs that are scientific and appropriate for each age and grade level. The program has organized many activities with different topics that have received enthusiastic response and participation from students in local schools.
