By 8 a.m. the same day, the whole province had 8 points and 6 inter-village roads flooded and cut off. Specifically, Ba Long commune was flooded at 5 points at Ba Long spillway (2m), Ta Lang bridge (1.9m), spillway bridge of village 5 (1.8m), Khe Vo bridge (1.7m), Thu Lu bridge (0.6m); Dakrong commune was flooded at 3 points at Da Do bridge in Ra Lay village (0.9m), Ly Ton bridge (1.5m), Chan Ro bridge (1.2m); Nam Hai Lang commune was flooded at 6 roads along O Lau river in low-lying areas of An Tho, Phu Kinh, Hoi Dien, My Chanh, Hung Nhon, Cau Nhi villages (flooded 1-1.2m deep).

To ensure the safety of reservoirs, dams and dykes, localities and units have inspected, reviewed and assessed the current status of the works to detect, fix, repair and restore damages in a timely manner. Currently, the total capacity of the irrigation reservoir managed by the Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited is about 80.81% of the designed capacity.
