On July 29 in Hanoi , Power Generation Corporation 1 (EVNGENCO1) held a ceremony to announce the decision to appoint the Deputy General Director of the Corporation.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Khoa - Chairman of the Board of Directors of EVNGENCO1 (right) and Mr. Nguyen Huu Thinh - General Director of EVNGENCO1, presented the decision and flowers to congratulate Ms. Trinh Thuy Quynh.

Accordingly, Ms. Trinh Thuy Quynh - Chief Accountant and Head of Finance and Accounting Department of EVNGENCO1 was appointed to the position of Deputy General Director of EVNGENCO1, from July 26, 2024.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EVNGENCO1 Nguyen Tien Khoa congratulated Ms. Trinh Thuy Quynh on her appointment to the new position at EVNGENCO1. According to Mr. Khoa, Ms. Trinh Thuy Quynh is a leader with extensive working experience in the electricity industry and is especially knowledgeable in the field of financial management.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of EVNGENCO1 also believes that the new Deputy General Director will continue to promote the achievements gained in the past time, continue to contribute more, especially in reviewing financial regulations, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, contributing to improving efficiency, creating new motivation, and working with the EVNGENCO1 staff to successfully complete the tasks assigned by superiors, bringing the corporation to sustainable development.

Speaking of thanks and accepting the assignment, Ms. Trinh Thuy Quynh - Deputy General Director of EVNGENCO1, said that this is a great honor but also a big challenge for her personally. At the same time, Ms. Quynh pledged to do her best, together with the Party Committee, Board of Directors, Board of Directors and all officers and employees of EVNGENCO1 to unite to overcome all challenges, bringing the corporation to strong development.

In the first 6 months of 2024, EVNGENCO1 produced 16.728 billion kWh, reaching 101.4% of the assigned plan, equivalent to 53.4% of the 2024 plan, basically meeting the assigned plan during the peak months of the dry season in 2024.

Regarding construction investment, the projects are being implemented by the corporation according to the assigned schedule. As of the end of June, the volume of construction investment and disbursement value reached 50% of the 2024 plan assigned by EVN.
