On the morning of July 23, in Thai Nguyen, the Military Medical Department, General Department of Logistics ( Ministry of National Defense ) held the inauguration and handover of the "Great Unity House" to the family of Mr. Hoang Quang Thai in Luong Tien hamlet, Phu Tien commune, Dinh Hoa district and the "House of Gratitude" to the family of Mr. Ma Van Cau, Din Deng hamlet, Yen Trach commune, Phu Luong district, Thai Nguyen province.

Mr. Hoang Quang Thai was a resistance fighter, infected with toxic chemicals, and Mr. Ma Van Cau was a war invalid, with extremely difficult housing conditions. Based on the proposal of the local government and the actual survey, the commander of the Military Medical Department reported to the head of the General Department of Logistics to propose 160 million VND in support so that Mr. Hoang Quang Thai and Mr. Ma Van Cau could build new houses.
After receiving the Decision of support from the General Department of Logistics, the Military Medical Department directed the agencies and the Military Preventive Medicine Institute to coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to start the construction of the "Great Unity House" and "House of Gratitude". After the construction period, two level 4 houses, each with an area of over 100m², flat roof, tiled floor, and closed auxiliary works were completed on schedule, ensuring quality.

At the house inauguration and handover ceremony, authorized by the Head of the General Department of Logistics, Colonel Tran Cong Truong, Party Secretary, Deputy Director of the Military Medical Department, presented the Decision to support funding for the construction of the "Great Unity House" and "House of Gratitude", gifts from the General Department of Logistics to the two families.
On this occasion, the Military Medical Department, the Military Institute of Preventive Medicine and local authorities presented many gifts to the two families./.
