According to the report of the Industrial Park Management Board, after the merger, there are 19 approved industrial parks in the province, with a total planning area of 6,406 hectares, 12 industrial parks have been established, of which 06 industrial parks have been put into operation. The industrial parks have basically invested in essential infrastructure, meeting the needs of secondary investors in the recent period. Many projects have invested in building production and business factories in the industrial parks with a high occupancy rate of over 90%. The Thai Nguyen Industrial Park Management Board is continuing to deploy and propose solutions to support businesses in handling administrative procedures, shortening the process of document appraisal, creating the most favorable conditions for investors and businesses.

At the meeting, leaders of communes and wards reported on the socio-economic development situation in the area, the results after 3 months of operating the 2-level local government. Accordingly, implementing the direction of the Central and the province, localities have arranged headquarters, organized apparatus and many other tasks to ensure that the commune-level political system immediately meets the requirements of the tasks. Development tasks are being oriented and implemented; in which, communes are actively implementing budget collection and disbursement of public investment capital in accordance with decentralization and delegation of authority, in parallel with ensuring growth and social security goals.

In his speech, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong emphasized that the southern region of the province has a lot of room for development, being the growth pole of modern industrial economy of Thai Nguyen. Therefore, the Thai Nguyen Industrial Park Management Board and the communes and wards in the southern region need to clearly define their roles and positions to focus on advising, mobilizing and effectively using investment resources, with focus and key points. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to synchronous planning, especially traffic infrastructure, electricity, water, telecommunications and social infrastructure; at the same time, ensure resettlement land fund to serve development, carry out site clearance well, and resolutely not let it become a "bottleneck" in project implementation.
He noted that in the process of selecting and implementing projects, it is necessary to ensure that they are suitable to actual conditions, needs and development vision; avoid spreading and inefficiency. In attracting and selecting investors, it is necessary to carefully evaluate the capacity of investors, focusing on factors of green industrial development and environmental protection. Regarding the local government, the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the initial results in the operation of the two-level local government; at the same time, he requested that localities, along with the task of providing public administrative services, need to strengthen their responsibility in managing socio-economic development in accordance with decentralization and delegation of power. To do this well, localities need to proactively coordinate with departments and branches, promptly deploy commune-level planning, promote proactiveness, criticism and creativity to ensure growth targets and improve the quality of people's lives.
During the working program, the delegation inspected the progress of the project of connecting roads to Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Phu Tho provinces; the project of the Ring Road V in the Hanoi Capital Region (section passing through Phu Binh commune, Thai Nguyen province connecting with Bac Ninh province); the project of connecting DT.261 with DT.266; the project of restoring and embellishing the national historical relic site of Muc Temple and Huong Ap Pagoda; and the Hanh Phuc - Xuan Phuong Industrial Cluster.

Also in the working program, the Provincial Delegation inspected the progress of the Hanh Phuc - Xuan Phuong Industrial Cluster in Phu Binh Commune . The project has a scale of 73.8 hectares, a total investment of 973 billion VND, and is expected to be completed in 2025. This is one of the projects selected to welcome the 1st Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, with the significance of expanding production land fund, creating jobs and making an important contribution to the local budget.

At the working session, inspecting the progress of works and projects, the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the efforts of localities and investors in implementing the projects, and emphasized that these are driving projects, creating new growth poles for the province, especially in the Southern region, which is being oriented to become a key industrial, service and urban development area.
