Toyota C-HR 2026 rolls 467 km/charge, from over 900 million VND

After about 2 months of launching in Europe, the all-electric Toyota C-HR has recently been introduced in the North American market.

Unlike the hybrid version previously introduced in Europe, Toyota decided to launch an all-electric version in the US, clearly demonstrating the company's orientation to expand its zero-emission product range.

The US version of the Toyota C-HR remains faithful to the modern coupe style, expressed through the gently sloping roofline, creating a sporty and dynamic look. The car is developed on the e-TNGA 2.0 platform, similar to the electric models of the Toyota bZ series.

The overall dimensions of the car are 4,519 x 1,869 x 1,621 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,751 mm. Toyota has also renewed the color range to suit the tastes of American users. The standard SE version has paint options such as Overcast Blue, Tandoori Orange, Cement Gray, Midnight Black Metallic and Wind Chill Pearl White.

Meanwhile, the high-end XSE version adds a contrasting black roof, combined with prominent body colors such as orange, gray or white. The car is equipped with alloy wheels measuring 18 inches or 20 inches depending on the version. The cabin of the Toyota C-HR is designed towards technology and comfort.

The center of the dashboard is a 14-inch touchscreen that integrates the latest Toyota Audio Multimedia system. The standard sound system includes 6 speakers, but users can upgrade to a premium JBL sound system with 9 speakers and a capacity of up to 800 W.

The seats are upholstered in a variety of materials, including felt, SofTex, or synthetic suede, depending on the version. In addition, the car also has high-end amenities such as wireless charging that supports 2 devices at the same time, a panoramic sunroof, and a luggage compartment capacity of up to 719 liters when the rear seats are folded.

In the US, the C-HR is only available in a four-wheel drive configuration with two electric motors, producing a total of 343 horsepower. With this power, the car can accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h (0–60 mph) in about 5 seconds. Powering the system is a 74.7 kWh battery pack, allowing the car to travel a maximum of about 467 km on a full charge (according to the US standard cycle).

The car uses the NACS charging standard and supports DC fast charging with a capacity of 150 kW, allowing the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in just about 30 minutes. Toyota confirmed that the pure electric C-HR will officially be available at dealers in North America in 2026.

Although the retail price has not been officially announced, some sources predict that this model will have a starting price of around $ 35,000 (907.2 million VND). Information on whether Toyota will add a front-wheel drive (FWD) version like in Europe is still unconfirmed.
