The new Toyota Camry GT‑S Concept will officially debut at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, USA. This model marks Toyota's new experiment in " sporting " the sedan line, which is famous for its practicality and durability. Developed by CALTY Design Research, Toyota's North American design center, the Camry GT‑S Concept is described as “a new performance icon for the Camry line.”
According to Kevin Hunter, Toyota North America's chief design officer, the goal of the project was to “imagine the next step for the Camry XSE – a sport sedan with a bolder look and a more engaging driving experience.” In terms of design, the Camry GT‑S makes a strong impression with its extremely aggressive exterior style. The car is equipped with a sporty body kit, including an extended front bumper, angular side skirts and a rear end with a fake diffuser shaped like two side air vents.
A large rear wing, combined with a two-tone paint scheme, gives the car a high-performance look. The body is painted in striking Inferno Flare orange, while the roof, hood, wheels and aerodynamic details are finished in contrasting matte black. The Camry GT‑S rides on 20-inch alloy wheels with 245/35R20 sports tires. The suspension is lowered by 38 mm, providing a more stable stance. The high-performance braking system includes 365 mm front discs with 8-piston calipers and 356 mm rear discs with 6-piston calipers, providing better control at high speeds. However, contrary to its sporty appearance, this Toyota Camry GT‑S concept will still retain the same 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid engine as the 2025 Camry XSE AWD, producing 232 horsepower.
This means that, despite looking like a high-performance sedan, the GT‑S retains the familiar practicality of the Camry line, focusing less on power and more on a balanced driving experience. Video : See details of the new Toyota Camry GT‑S Concept sports sedan.
