Ho Chi Minh City: Announcing the answers to the 6th grade entrance exam in Thu Duc City

(NLDO) - On the afternoon of May 27, the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City officially announced the answers to the subjects in the 6th grade entrance exam.

According to the announcement of the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City - Ho Chi Minh City, the answers to the exam sections in the survey are as follows:

Previously, on May 24, more than 3,500 5th grade students gathered at the survey locations to take the 6th grade entrance exam at 3 famous secondary schools in Thu Duc City: Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School, Hoa Lu Secondary School and Binh Tho Secondary School.

All candidates take a 90-minute aptitude test, consisting of two parts:

+ Multiple choice part: Students answer 20 multiple choice questions in English about understanding natural sciences , social sciences and common sense (do within 30 minutes).

+ Essay section (60 minutes) includes: English proficiency test: Reading comprehension, writing (candidates take the test in English). Math and logical thinking ability test (candidates take the test in Vietnamese). Reading comprehension and writing ability test (candidates take the test in Vietnamese).

According to the announcement of the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City, Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School has 1,236 candidates registered to take the 6th grade exam for the 2025-2026 school year. The enrollment target for 6th grade is 315 students (including at least 4 integrated English classes). Thus, the competition ratio is 1: 3.92.

Hoa Lu Secondary School has 1,206 candidates registered for the 6th grade exam for the 2025-2026 school year. The enrollment target for 6th grade is 245 students (including at least 2 integrated English classes). Thus, the competition ratio is 1: 4.92.

Binh Tho Secondary School has 1,094 candidates registered to take the 6th grade exam for the 2025-2026 school year. The enrollment target for 6th grade is: 280 students (including at least 3 integrated English classes). Thus, the competition ratio is: 1: 3.9.

May 30: Expected survey results will be announced.

Admission requirements: Admitted students are those who complete the 6th grade entrance exam completely, correctly, and do not have any exam with a score of 0.

Admission score: The total score of the 6th grade entrance exam. Based on the results of the exam, admission will be considered from high to low until the quota is met and according to the criteria appropriate to each school's model.
